Install Windows XP dari Flash Disk

Dalam proses instalasi XP di UFD, anda dapat menggunakan semua UFD yang kompetibel dengan XP, tapi ada syarat yang harus dipenuhi yaitu. Kapasitas UFD minimal 256 Mb semakin besar semakin bagus, Motherboard yang dipakai harus bisa melakukan booting lewat flash disk, Tersisa ruang hardisk sebesar 2 GB, Versi USB yang dipakai ada baiknya menggunakan versi 2.0 meskipun Versi 1.1 juga bisa, namun kinerjanya akan lebih lambat, CD Instalasi windows XP SP1 atau SP2.

Langkah Pertama

Sebelum dimulai format UFD dengan menggunakan aplikasi “HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool”. Kenapa tidak menggunakan fasilitas format pada windows ?, karena fasilitas format pada windows cenderung “error”. Anda bisa download di sini, Berikut caranya.

- Lakukan proses instalasi seperti biasa
- Jalankan melalui Start
- Pilih UFD yang ingin di format dibagian device
- Pilih file system dengan Fat32, klik start

Buatlah sebuah folder di hardisk anda dengan nama C:\sp2\winxp (Sesuka Anda). Copykan seluruh content yang ada di dalam CD instalasi windows XP ke dalam folder yang telah anda buat tadi. Sebagai contoh aku gunakan windows XP Profesional SP2. pastikan tidak ada file yang ketinggalan atau tersembunyi.

Langkah kedua

Download Utility bernama PEBuilder di www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ . Utility ini nantinya akan menyertakan sebuah fitur bernama BartPE. Selanjutnya install PEBuilder tadi.

- Jalankan PEBuilder,
- Dibagian source arahkan ke C:\sp2\winxp.
- Dibagian Output menggunakan “BartPE2″
- Dibagian media output ganti menjadi “Create ISO Image” lalu isi dengan c:\pebuilder.iso

Anda dapat menambahkan plugin caranya anda dapat melihat di www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/plugins/. jika ada aplikasi yang ingin disertakan kedalam UFD tanpa harus diinstall sebaiknya gunakan aplikasi2x portabel.

- Klik Build, pada “create directory” pilih yes. proses Build akan berjalan
- Setelah selesai, Close dan tutup PEBuilder.

Langkah Ke Tiga

Download aplikasi bernama FlashBoot dari www.prime-expert.com/flashboot/download.php. Install FlashBoot seperti biasa. lalu
jalankan melalui start menu.

- Jendela pertama FlashBoot klik next
- Pilih “Convert BartPE Bootable Disk To Bootable Flash Disk”, klik next
- Berikutnya pilih “Use ISO-9660″, kemudian browse dan cari file ISO yang kita buat tadi di c:\pebuilder.iso, klik open lalu next.
- Pilihlah “Make Bootable USB Flash Disk” dan pilih drive letternya dengan UFD anda. Jika belum muncul klik refresh list, lalu next.
- Berikutnya hilangkan tanda centang pada “Save data on disk”, kemudian pilih “Partitioned disk”. Klik next finish, proses pembuatan akan berjalan. setelah selesai klik close.

Atur Bios anda agar booting melalui UFD. jika sudah anda dapat segera mencobanya.

Setting Modem Haier D1200 SMART

Install USB Driver

1. Masukan CD Modem Driver ke CD Drive, klik ganda viausbYSb_Setup.exe lalu klik next ( Saat mulai instalasi, Hape dan kabel USB dalam kondisi tidak terkoneksi ke komputer )
2. Muncul license Agreement, klik Yes, lalu isi informasi pribadi (Username & Company Name (bebas)), lalu klik Next
3. Driver diinstal dalam folder, lalu klik Next
4. Akan muncul notifikasi, klik Continue Anyway (3x)
5. Pasang koneksi kabel USB pada HP ke komputer, lalu klik OK
6. Akan muncul notifikasi, klik Continue Anyway (3x) , instal driver USB selesai

Setting Internet Connection

1. Masuk ke menu Control Panel, lalu klik ganda Network Connection, lalu klik Create a New Connection, lalu klik Next
2. Pilih Connect to the Internet, lalu klik Next
3. Pilih Set up my connection manually, lalu pilih Next
4. Pilih Connect using a dial-up modem, lalu klik Next
5. Pilih Modem VIA Telecom CBP USB Modem, lalu klik Next
6. Masukan , lalu klik Next
7. Masukan #777, lalu klik Next
8. Masukan username : smart , password : smart
klik Next dan setting modem connection selesai. Setelah proses instalasi selesai, HP Modem bisa digunakan. Jika dialing pertama belum berhasil, silahkan reset HP dan mulai proses redial kembali

NB : Untuk menaikan kecepatan modem tersebut lebih baik mencari sinyal hingga 4 ++ karena jika sinyal dibawah 3 koneksi internetnya akan mati.. Semakin besar sinyal semakin baik pula koneksi internetnya..

Resize Partisi Harddisk
1. Tutup Semua Aplikasi di Windows anda sebelum melakukan proses partisi harddisk.
2. Buka aplikasi Easeus Partition Master 4.0.1 Home Edition
3. Klik kanan drive yang ingin dirubah kapasitas hard drive nya, misalkan drive D. Kemudian pilih Resize/Move

4. Letakkan pointer mouse di kotak bagian kanan di drive yang ingin di resize. Kemudian geser ke kanan dengan cara men-drag mouse sesuai kapasitas yang diinginkan.

5. Kemudian anda akan memperoleh free space dari drive yang ingin anda perbesar (Drive C)yang terletak di sebelah kanan drive C.

6. Letakkan pointer mouse diantara drive C dan free space kemudian geser sampai pointer mouse membentuk tanda panah yang berlawanan.

7. Kemudian Klik Apply. Selesai.
